    Interview With Jason Razzler

Post  Admin on Sun Apr 05, 2009 4:30 pm

    Jason

Maybe to some it would seem like a cop out, if they didn't understand the high costs of airing a program on television, even with just regional broadcasting like the one we are doing.

    Petey

Is that how someone like Ryan Davis gets to say he owns a part of the show? Because he bought some stock in it?

    Jason

Well yes, he does own some small part of it.

You see, I had to relinquish half, that is 50%, of the ownership of LAW to a shareholders committee, and Ryan it seems bought up a fair amount of that, 10% is what I know he owns.

The Shareholders Committee, is a powerful group of people and I do not know exactly how Ryan has anything to do with them, from what I understand his family is of some influence in the business world. So, when I sold out half of LAW in order to pay the high costs of advertising, and televising, all that stuff, he got a part of it.

    Petey

Well I guess ten percent isn't enough to give him so much control here in LAW that he can make decisions about who does what, and how everything is done. He just sort of scares me, I wouldn't want to work for him you know.

    Jason

I can understand that, but the thing is, The Shareholders Committee is a large group of people, I believe there are twelve of them, and Ryan owns ten percent total of LAW, that is twenty percent of what The Shareholders Committee owns, the rest of the shares divided equaly. Ryan is in effect, The Head of The Shareholders Committee, because he has more shares than any other one of them, although he is not really a part of their organization.

It doesn't give him power over them in any way, but he has plenty of influence with them concerning LAW. And that means quite a lot to us. If need be, I can go over his head by talking with them myself, they collectively, without Ryan, hold forty percent of LAW, but doing so is very taxing, it takes alot just for me to get a phone message past their secretary.

I have never seen one of them in person.

    Petey

So that talk Ryan was making about being the new champion of LAW? I don't understand, he is not the champion wrestler here is he?

    Jason

    No, he is not.

He is being ridiculous saying that.

I have been through that already with both him and The Shareholders Committee. And Ryan did not like it. He felt that because he held a major portion of stocks in LAW he would be automatically the Heavyweight Champion here. But I explained to the Committee in full detail how that would destroy the interests of this company. That much I was able to get through to them, and it took a lot of time and effort on my part to do it too.

They decided to make a secondary show, Back Alley Brawls and put Ryan in charge of that, he wasn't very pleased about this decision, but grudgingly accepted and now has his own roster of wrestlers he calls The Volstad, that he hand picked himself, as well as there being a certain amount of overspill from my roster that will make appearances on his show. How he handles that is up to him.

    Petey

Thank you Jason for clearing all of that up with me as well as the viewers at home. I believe that was a very thourough explanation of much of what goes on behind the scenes here at Legendary Action Wrestling.
